Had a new beer a couple weeks ago, Schneider "Aventinus." Dark-ruby color. This beer has a thick and "persistant" head. This is a very intense wheat doppelbock with a slight cider nose, fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes in a rich soft and lightly bitter impression. Wheat doppelbock 8.2 % vol. alc. Original gravity 18.5% $14.99 (4-16.9 oz). It was a great birthday present!
